The peak of the prolific Geminids meteor shower!
The peak of the prolific Geminids Meteor shower is around December 13th - 14th. The Geminids are prolific in the fact that they are one of a few meteor showers that do not originate from a comet, but they originate from 3200 Phaethon (which is thought to be an Apollo asteroid with a "rock comet" orbit to the Sun). As we look to the skies and see the shooting stars emerging near the constellation Gemini with the best viewing time early in the morning around 2 am to 3 am, we should continue to reach for our stars and our dreams.
As these shooting stars come from a different source, we should consider where our dreams come from and know that sometimes unexpected things can happen in our life's that bring about dreams that we did not think to pursue. The holidays are fast approaching as we prepare ourselves to celebrate with friends and family, we should remember to continue to be open minded to unexpected surprises and dreams.
